Hey, Everyone...meet Toby! I spent the day delivering pet products to Houston and The Woodlands and Toby lives in the Greenspoint neighborhood. This little guy sometimes comes out with his folks to meet me when we drop his pet food package. He's always happy, but check out his face in this photo. Wow! His Mom sent it to me not long after I saw them today. She wrote, "Toby loved the Honest Kitchen turkey bowl 😄" She was referring to a sample of pet food I included with their order, but then added, "That's his normal face every time he gets his food delivery! He always knows the box is for him lol ☺️"

Seriously, do I have the best job in the world or what?!? What a great day! :-D

Good Evening Pet Parents,

I had something entirely different I was going to write about this morning. Then I received a text from a client with an adorable photo of her cat. It was a delightful surprise and, with her permission, I posted it to all of our PetProductDelivery.com social media pages. When something makes you smile you should spread the love around, right?

However, what I realized today is that back when I was pet grooming everyday (prior to COVID lockdowns) I was able to spend literally hours upon hours in the company of individual pet parents and their fur-kids. We looked into each others eyes, shared stories and laughed at jokes. I do still teach some folks to groom their own pets (Learn 2 Groom), but without those regular groom meetings where I am the one performing the services, things are different. Not bad...just different. When we make home visits for Small Animal Pet Sitting, we definitely form a strong bond with the pets we care for, but the pet parents are naturally not home. When we deliver products, we might see your happy faces for a moment. But, then again, we might not. With that said, we are having a blast meeting fur-families at dog shows, cat shows, local markets and in neighborhood communities. Though our face-to-face interactions are brief, they are often times meaningful. So, things are different than they were. And, that's okay.

But, here's the thing, and I hope this doesn't come off as kind of sappy, but...Your happiness matters to me. And, since we rarely see each other in person now that I am no longer grooming full time, I don't always get to experience those spontaneous moments of joy between pets and their people.

I'm going to share the photo (see below) that allowed  reflection on all of this. And, if you don't mind, at the end of this post, I'm going to make a small request. Here goes...

Meet Willy (Valnika's Will Robinson, SGCA). He is just the CUTEST and seems to be SMILING, wouldn't you agree?
When his Mom sent the photo she wrote, "Willy loves his new pet tent," and it made my whole day. This may sound silly, but making pets and their people happy is what gets me excited about owning a pet business. It puts a smile on my face to know that, in some small way, I can bring joy to others.

So, here's my request: Let us know when you are happy with our products and/or services. Let us know when you are unhappy, too. We'll work hard to make things better. And, if you have a photo of your pet enjoying a product or just having a good time, share that with us. 

We may not see each other in person as much as we did back in the day before COVID lockdowns, but you are all still a BIG part of my heart. YOU and your pets are important. To have that connection with our PetProductDelivery.com family is a great blessing.

Greetings Fellow Pet Parents! Last Sunday PetProductDelivery.com had a wet and wonderful adventure at the Rayford Sunday Market in Spring, TX. Although the forecast looked foreboding, the managers of the market gave the go ahead to set up. I left the rest of the PPD team behind due to weather uncertainties, but managed to get a few photos which you can check out below...

I brought some old favorites and some new products, too. We ended up getting caught in quite a downpour early on. Fortunately, none of the products were damaged and pet parents came out and supported our small business and many other vendors despite the rain.

Naturally, we made some new vendor friends, too. Meet the founder of All Things Glitter by Jane. She makes beautiful home decor and jewelry by hand. And, as the name implies, all of her merch is DAZZLING! (See below.)

We were having such a good time despite the weather, but  the market managers made the decision to shut down not long after we opened. I'm sure it was a tough call on their part, but needless to say, I was disappointed because participation was good and spirits were high. Never-the-less, we chose a winner from our drawing entries. So...

Congratulations to Lisa G. of Spring, TX! She chose the Longhorn Buba Chew for her prize. It will be shipped to her home TODAY.

The sudden shutdown of last Sunday's market took me by surprise. Since it takes time to set everything up, breaking it all down in the pouring rain shortly after set up has given me cause to reconsider participating at some of these outdoor events.  But, no worries. Going forward, I will be looking for outdoor events that are open rain or shine. In the meantime, we still have plenty of indoor events booked this year. This last weekend found us at Sunningdale Senior Living in Shenandoah, TX on Friday the 28th and then we were back at the Conroe Sunday Market on the 30th. What a weekend!

Norma M. was the WINNER of our drawing at Sunningdale (see above). She chose a Large Buba Chew for her prize!

A very special shout-out to Elsa, the manager of Sunningdale for inviting us back next month. :-D We all had such a great time. We really look forward to doing this again soon.

The weather could not have been nicer last Sunday at the Conroe Sunday Market. But, it did get warmer than any of us expected. Thank goodness for sunscreen! ;-D

Senor Poco de Amor was my co-pilot for this event (see below). The ladies were really lovin' on this little guy!

Meet this week's featured vendor, Tim Ballas (photo below). His company, located in Montgomery, TX, is truly unique. All Out Hooking creates CUSTOM lures for folks that love to go fishing. Erma H. of Conroe, TX was the WINNER of our drawing on 4/30. We spoke on the phone, but she has not decided on her prize, yet. When she does, we will update this blog post accordingly.
