"It came to me that every time I lose a dog
they take a piece of my heart with them,
and every new dog who comes into my life
gifts me with a piece of their heart.
If I live long enough all of the components of my heart will be dog,
and I will become as generous and loving as they are."
This is a photo of our friend, Max. He is such a sweet little boy. Max visits the salon about once a month and we so look forward to seeing him when he does. Hugs!
Our friend Bonnie moved away to Philly last year. We were SO HAPPY when she came back to H-town for a visit! What a delight to get to groom this little girl during her and her Mom's vacation. She hung out in the play area with my kids after her spa treatment and then took a short nap by the window. This made my day. :-) Looking forward to her next visit. Thank you!
And this, our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in stones, and good in everything.

Toby is one of my all time favorite felines. He comes once a month to freshen up his coif and sometimes we have time left over for some fun. Today we spent awhile in the front room where Toby was able to relax while I held him so he could see the goings on out on Richmond Avenue. When he was ready to go back into his travel bag, I tucked a little organic catnip in with him for the road. Love my little Tobmeister! <3
Meet Simba! Today was his first visit to A Peaceful Pet and we are so glad to get to know him. He is a very gentle and happy fellow. Check him out, posing for his photo op. ;-)
Special thanks to Izzy, her human "Mom" Maria and sister Lucy for this fabulous orchid plant. What a sweet surprise when they brought it to the salon today. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
I've been in the studio today working on something that will eventually be a birthday gift. Not quite finished. What do you think of this little guy so far?

Today was Hercules' first visit to A Peaceful Pet and we had a really great time! He enjoyed catching treats, prancing around the play area and then sitting and watching the world go by. What a sweet little guy. :-)
