Frequently Asked Questions
"What is Pet Product Delivery.com?"
Pet Product Delivery.com delivers Holistic Health Products for cats and dogs direct to your door. You can call, text or e-mail your order 24/7. Orders are delivered directly to your home or office. We carry only the finest "Earth Friendly" Holistic Health Products for Pets. Absolutely everything that we carry is made in the U.S.A. See Local Delivery - Products for a complete list of everything that we carry.
We also offer an in-home Pet Spa Service for cats and small breed dogs. This concept is for the pet parent that is not interested in having their little fur-baby away from them for hours. Pet parents make appointments just like a human hair salon. The pet is groomed during that appointment time and then they are free to run and play @ home. Every effort is made to provide a relaxing "Less Stress" experience for the pet. See In-Home Grooming Services for more details.
And now we also offer Small Animal Pet Sitting services! Click this link for more detail.
Our company is all about service, professionalism and the well being of pets.
"How do I place an order to have products delivered?"
That's an easy one! Feel free to call, text (832-549-1730) or e-mail your order 24/7. You will be contacted to schedule delivery if you live in the Houston area, Spring, Cypress or The Woodlands. You can pay via online invoice before the scheduled delivery or @ the time of delivery via cash, check, credit or debit. We try to make the delivery process as easy as possible. Please visit Local Delivery - Products for a full list of everything we carry. For our clients that live further away, we ship products all across the continental United States.
"Do I have to be home when my order is delivered?"
No. You can make arrangements to have your products dropped off anywhere on your property while you are away. We text when we are on the way, when we arrive and after the order has been delivered, if you are not home. You can also have your order delivered to your office.
"Do you give discounts?"
We give a 5.00 Reward to any client sending a pet product delivery, pet sitting or grooming referral. The more referrals a client sends our way, the more of a discount they receive. (3 referrals = 15.00 Reward.)
Pet product discounts are also sent out via e-mail. Information on product discounts and other news is updated regularly on our blog, Peaceful Ponderings.
"My pet is having a little diarrhea. Can I have him/her groomed?"
No. Your pet should be seen by a veterinarian if s/he is exhibiting any of these symptoms: loose bowel movements, vomiting, coughing, runny nose, excessive watery eyes. Please, call prior to your appointment to cancel if you know this is the case. If a pet is in questionable health s/he will not be groomed. In fact, if any pet or person within the household (not just the pet scheduled for grooming) is exhibiting any of these symptoms, the appointment should be canceled. We travel from household to household and take health and wellness very seriously. We love our clients and do not want to risk carrying a potentially contagious disease to any person or pet. We can reschedule after your veterinarian or your personal health care professional gives the all clear. If a pet becomes sick during pet sitting services, s/he will be taken to your veterinarian immediately.
"I don't know if you can groom in my home. What do I need to provide?"
There is very little that is required. Adequate parking within 30 feet of entry of your home is a must. You need to provide a kitchen sink with a vegetable sprayer or a laundry room sink to bathe the pet in. A well lit room with electrical outlets, plenty of natural light for grooming and a trash receptacle. That's it. All the tools, grooming table, products and dryer are brought to your home. Your pet will also receive a treat when we are finished. We allow 10 minutes before and after the groom to set-up and remove equipment @ no charge to you. We do not bathe pets in human bath tubs, climb stairs with equipment or groom outdoors.
"Can I watch my pet being groomed?"
Absolutely! Several of our clients stay and watch each and every time. We only ask that you refrain from talking to your pet or calling his or her name so that s/he will not become overly excited on the grooming table. Just behave as you normally do in the home. Safety is important. A general rule is to stand or sit @ least 5 feet from the grooming area. Please, postpone snapping photos of your pet until after the grooming is completed.
"I like the idea of my pet not waiting in a cage all day, but I don't feel comfortable having someone groom in my home. Is there another option?"
Yes. For clients for whom in-home grooming is not a good fit, we offer grooming @ Pet Grooming Partners. A Pet Grooming Partner is another pet business (doggie daycare or veterinarian) that has agreed to have us make an appointment @ their facility. The services and prices are exactly the same, except that you would be waiting in their waiting room, instead of your home. If you feel this option would fit your needs, let us know and we'll set up an appointment w/ a Pet Grooming Partner in your area. Please note: For senior pets, pets w/ separation anxiety or other nervous behavior and health issues, in-home pet grooming would better serve your pet's needs.
"My pet has bitten me when I have tried to groom him/her at home. Can you groom my pet?"
Give us a call and we can talk it over. We do not groom vicious animals. However, in certain circumstances almost any animal can become agitated to bite. We take these animals on a case-by-case basis. We have had success with most pets. If a pet has severe bite aggression toward humans, we may refer you to a behaviorist before setting an appointment.
"My pet isn't housebroken. Is this a problem for grooming?"
It doesn't have to be. Some pets have "accidents". If, however, you know your pet is not housebroken at all, is incontinent or lifts his leg indoors, we ask that you let us know. Some of our clients' pets wear belly bands (males) or doggie diapers. We do not accept incontinent pets, pets that mark or that are not housebroken without belly bands and/or diapers. Nor do we accept pets that are undergoing chemo-therapy.
"My pet is elderly and has a severe, noncontagious health condition. Would you consider grooming my pet?"
Give us a call and we can discuss the best way to care for your aging friend.
"Is it customary to tip the groomer?"
Yes. Gratuity is not mandatory, but it is appreciated. Most clients add a 10 - 20% gratuity for a job well done.
