A good Samaritan in Magnolia, TX took in a dog that was posted as a stray on Nextdoor. Not very long after was a whole string of posts from neighbors offering to help out. Then a rescue group called A Chance to Bloom jumped in to lend a hand, also. I was inspired by all these neighbors helping neighbors helping a lovely senior doggie that had been neglected, so I've decided to make rescues and rescue groups a regular feature on this blog. Here's one such story:
Lilly is approximately 12 years old. She was neglected and roaming the neighborhood for a couple of months. Skinny, but very friendly, she has arthritis and is being treated for a UTI. A Chance to Bloom is a rescue group in Conroe, TX. They take some of the absolute worst neglect and abuse cases as well as death row doggies and turn their lives around. Their motto is Helping Pups Blossom to Forever Homes. Ask them about Lilly. I've posted her photos, below.
