I've gotta tell you, between May 27th and Memorial Day weekend, we were pretty much moving nonstop. I have many wonderful photos to share with you all this evening and, if you'll stay with me all the way to the end of this post, you'll find a very special announcement about some changes that are going to effect, and hopefully improve, some aspects of PetProductDelivery.com. But first, PHOTOS!
Saturday, May 27th found us with a booth at the 1488 Bazaar in Magnolia, TX for the very first time. It was a blistering hot day with beautiful blue skies. Fortunately, most of the smaller doggies were carried or in strollers so their paws did not get burnt. We were happy to share some shade under our tent for the larger pets. Saturday, May 27th found us with a booth at the 1488 Bazaar in Magnolia, TX for the very first time. It was a blistering hot day with beautiful blue skies. Fortunately, most of the smaller doggies were carried or in strollers so their paws did not get burnt. We were happy to share some shade under our tent for the larger pets. Naturally, there were familiar faces at many of the other vendor booths as well as new friends. Folks, if you have never been to a farmers market, craft show or other small business market, you really should go. As retail space gets too expensive for small businesses, markets like these are the best way for start ups to introduce prospective clients to their offerings. And, who knows? You might find something you just can't live without!

The winner of the drawing on that lovely Saturday was Laura P. of Montgomery, TX. She chose the Buba Chew Longhorn for her pet's prize. She was not present at the time her name was chosen, so we shipped the product to her. Congrats to her and her 2 doggies!
Once the show was over and everything packed up, I realized that somehow I had gotten a really bad sunburn despite being under a tent and wearing a 30 SPF sunscreen. Not sure how that happened...but it was a very sunny day. So, in the interest of protecting my skin, we did not travel to the Rayford Sunday Market the following day. My apologies to those pet parents that may have been looking for us there.
BUT, the Spring Feline Fling Cat Show in Rosenburg, TX the following Saturday and Sunday 6/4 - 6/5 was an absolute blast! It was 100% indoors, so no risk of sunburn. :-D
Our booth was super busy, but I did manage to dart out to take some photos. Most of my shots ended up being of Maine Coon cats, but there were all kinds of beautiful cats represented at the show. Take a look...

We had a great spot at the show. There was a long wall full of vendors selling everything from cat toys, to jewelry and more. We were right in the middle between The Popcorn Gypsy and a couple selling comic books, mugs and 3D knick-knacks...
A vendor we've know since way before the pandemic is author Cindy Vincent (see photo below). She writes detective novels featuring her own pets as the feline sleuths! She's one of the nicest people you could ever meet and her books are highly entertaining. Learn more about the author and her books here:

The winner of our drawing on Sunday the 5th was Gloria P. of Sugar Land, TX. She chose a 3.3lb. bag of Farmina N&D Urinary Formula kibble for cats as her prize. She was not present when her name was drawn, so we shipped a bag to her.
And now for the announcement!
With the summer getting hotter and more people requesting frozen products, our business model in it's current form is not sustainable. We want to do the very best job for our clients and their fur-kids, so some changes are in order.
To keep the quality of our services high, I will be spending the next two weeks reorganizing. The website will be torn apart to streamline our product mix. We will also be bowing out of pet shows for a couple of months. We are doing well with one vehicle and are not yet big enough to add a second. Therefore, we will be shipping products instead of delivering to free up our vehicle for local Small Animal Pet Sitting and Pet Taxi Services.
What does this mean for you all? Most clients will not be effected and, in fact, will enjoy the opportunity to stock up on clearance items.
Unfortunately, we will no longer be delivering frozen products. It breaks my heart to disappoint some of our favorite clients, but it is just not possible to be everywhere at one time. We hope our clients that love our frozen products understand and consider trying some of our freeze-dried products instead. They can be shipped anywhere and require no refrigeration!
This will be a very productive time. Look for great prices on favorite products and exciting NEW products in the coming days.
