In this addition of Pet Product Delivery News we'll be talking about 1) closing out Tropiclean products as well as 2) recommending a very good source of information about holistic care for dogs: the Whole Dog Journal and 3) I've added another product to Flea Control 2015. So here we go!

1) Although I love using Tropiclean products when I travel to homes to care for your fur-kids, I am not selling very many of these products, so I will be discontinuing them. 2) Often my clients ask me for advice on all manner of subjects pertaining to holistic health care for pets. One of my favorite sources of information is the Whole Dog Journal. I don't always agree with them, but I completely respect them. Why? This may be the only magazine for pet parents that is not funded by product endorsements and other advertising. I highly recommend their articles for those looking for alternative sources of health care information. B.J. had a vet visit today. A little more arthritic, but over all doing remarkably well for a seventeen-year-old-ish Yorkshire terrier. Looks like we'll enjoy many more evening walks along the bayou. Feeling very grateful. I love my little buddy!

Many of my clients say that keeping their pets interested in any food they bring home is a challenge. As many of you know, my pets eat a variety of foods everyday...just like we do! This insures that they get all of the nutrients they need and that they enjoy their meals in the process. I leave dry kibble out for my kitties all day and they get a can of wet food for breakfast every morning. My Yorkie eats a different food for breakfast and dinner and then I leave something out for him and the kitties to share during the day. Sometimes I make what I call "trail mix" out of freeze-dried products. Here's an example of some thing I made for them this morning:

1 scoop Stella and Chewy's Tantalizing Turkey Meal Mixers
1 patty Stella and Chewy's Duck Duck Goose Dinner finely crumbled
1 heaping tablespoon Bravo! Bonus Bites Salmon
1 teaspoon Bravo! Bonus Bites Turkey Breast torn into tiny pieces (as a topper)

I layered all ingredients in a small bowl in the order listed. Wouldn't your pets enjoy a tasty snack like this? Of course they would! AND, they would never get tired of their food if you changed the ingredients up. Bone apetit!

I have been grooming Bilbo for more than 4 1/2 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. He was looking especially cute this last Thursday, so before I left I snapped this photo. I just love this guy!

Shout-outs to Bilbo's friends Lady Arwin and Gandolph! And, a special mention for our friend Frodo who I think about often and is very much missed.
