On a little day trip to Brenham, I made a new friend this Easter: Buddy the 7-week-old Katahdin sheep! He was very friendly and his guardian was happy to tell me all about him. I learned that not all sheep have wool. Our domestic sheep's early ancestors had hair and Buddy's breed falls into that category. She also told me that sheep make excellent pets. Who knew? Between the bluebonnets and Buddy, I couldn't have asked for a nicer Easter. :-) Hope you all had a nice Easter, too!
